euromicron acquires Austrian mobile communications company Cteam GmbH
Frankfurt am Main, June 16, 2007 - euromicron AG has made its largest acquisition since the beginning of its buy and build strategy in 2001 and is taking a 100% stake in Cteam Consulting & Anlagenbau GmbH in Seekirchen (Austria) and so indirectly holds all the shares in its subsidiary Cteam Kommunikationstechnik in Munich.
The company, which is headquartered in Seekirchen, Austria, is well established in the market for mobile communications technology since 10 years and has been operating successfully for years in the fields of location planning, project management, plant engineering and construction/communications technology and IT system security. Cteam’s customers include well-known mobile carriers in Austria. Cteam and its German subsidiary employ 88 people. euromicron will build on the competent and well-tuned workforce of Cteam GmbH and actively promote the company’s growth.
Its Managing Director is and will remain Günter Schardl. Harald Köfler, one of the previous shareholders, holder of general power of attorney and manager according to trading regulations, has indicated his interest in joining the company’s management.
By acquiring Cteam, euromicron is expanding its internationalization now to other German-speaking countries following its move into France and Poland and expects additional annualized sales potential of around €30 million, on the back of an earnings base in line with euromicron’s requirements, for the current fiscal year 2007.
The purchase price is in the lower double-digit million range; confidentiality was agreed on all other matters relating to the acquisition.
